Originally from Pakistan, Chef Samiullah discovered his culinary calling when his genuine passion for hospitality and exceptional food was recognised at an early age. As the culinary team leader and owner head chef of Sami Catering, he brings over three decades of remarkable expertise to Bradford's dining scene. Throughout his illustrious career, Chef Samiullah has refined his craft at some of the world's most prestigious establishments, including Avari Towers Karachi, Serena Hotels, Pearl Continental, Presidential Plaza Hotel Beijing, and Singapore's legendary Raffles Hotel. His professional credentials were further enhanced through training at Le Cordon Bleu Paris. Chef Samiullah's extensive experience spans notable positions across the UK hospitality sector, including roles at Jurys Inn, Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland, Cedar Court Hotel as Head Chef, De Vere Hotels Group, Royal Nawaab London, Akbar Restaurant Group, Mylahore Group, and Jinnah Restaurant Group. These diverse experiences have profoundly shaped his distinctive culinary style and remarkable depth of knowledge.
His extraordinary career highlights include representing Pakistani cuisine at Beijing's Presidential Plaza Hotel, pioneering Pakistan's first mango export market entry into China, and orchestrating culinary operations for the 12th SAARC Summit Conference. The pinnacle of his achievements was the tremendous honour of serving Prince William and Princess Kate at a royal event, whilst earning formal recognition from military leaders for his exceptional service. Chef Samiullah firmly believes in quality over quantity, with ingredients remaining the cornerstone of every dish. Only the freshest and finest seasonal products are carefully sourced for their exceptional quality, allowing the natural flavours of authentic cuisine to express themselves brilliantly. Since founding Sami Catering, he has dedicated himself to crafting an exceptional menu that draws upon his extensive international experience and unwavering passion for authentic cuisine.
